About

Deanna JosephAs a child I was always fascinated with the paranormal.  I had dreams that came true, I’d know who was on the phone before I answered it, or I’d just get these “knowings” about things that were to come.  I wouldn’t say that I was any different from anyone else; we all get these nudges from time to time, it’s part of who we are.  However, I would say that my fascination with the unknown was stronger than most.

From that fascination grew an interest in folklore and legend, particularly Celtic folklore, as I believed that in those stories we find part of who we are and who we can be.  Mankind has always been afraid of the unknown, and I was no different.  It was at that point that I decided to embrace it, and create from a place of legend, magic and inspiration.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than being in the inspired moments of creation. And I believe that since my writing, poetry and music are inspired, that they carry an archetypal and symbolic message important to our spiritual growth. Both music and poetry speak to us in the language of the heart, which has the potential to lead to greater understanding of ourselves and the magical world which surrounds us.

Most of us walk a path that is not clearly laid out before us, and we stumble along the way.  It is in those moments of stumbling, when a hand reaches for us, that the path becomes smooth and our hearts become light.

Let our hands reach together…
